1.1 Our Commitment

Care Concierge Inc. is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible digital experience for people with disabilities. Because home care serves individuals with a wide range of physical, sensory, cognitive, communication, and age-related needs, accessibility is an important part of how we want clients, families, caregivers, applicants, and community members to interact with us.

1.2 Accessibility Standard and Ongoing Improvement

Care Concierge aims to design, develop, and maintain its public website with recognized accessibility practices in mind, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as a practical accessibility target. Accessibility is an ongoing process, and we may continue to test, remediate, and improve content and functionality as the website evolves. This statement does not represent that every page or third-party component is error-free or has been formally certified.

1.3 Accessibility Features the Developer Should Support

The website should be built and maintained to support, where applicable: semantic headings and landmarks; keyboard-only navigation; visible keyboard focus; sufficient color contrast; text resizing and responsive layouts; meaningful alternative text for informative images; properly labeled form fields and instructions; clear validation and error messages; descriptive links and buttons; captions or transcripts for meaningful prerecorded media; avoidance of flashing content; logical reading and tab order; accessible PDFs or alternative HTML content when feasible; and compatibility with commonly used screen readers and assistive technologies.

1.4 Forms and Home Care Intake

Online inquiry and intake forms should be usable without a mouse, should associate labels with controls, should identify required fields, should provide understandable error messages, and should avoid time limits unless necessary. When a form requests sensitive care information, accessibility should not be achieved by exposing that information to unnecessary third-party tools. Security and accessibility should be addressed together.

1.5 Alternative Ways to Communicate

If you experience difficulty using the website or need information in another format, contact Care Concierge. We will make reasonable efforts to provide the requested information or an alternative method of communication appropriate to the situation. Website accessibility requests do not replace emergency services.

1.6 Third-Party Content

Some website functions may be supplied by third-party platforms, such as scheduling, maps, payment tools, forms, social media, or embedded content. Care Concierge seeks to work with accessible providers but does not control every aspect of independent third-party technology. If a third-party feature creates a barrier, contact us so we can attempt to provide an alternative way to obtain the information or service.

1.7 Feedback and Accessibility Assistance

We welcome accessibility feedback. Please identify the page or feature involved, describe the difficulty you experienced, and tell us the best way to contact you. You do not need to disclose a diagnosis or unnecessary medical information to request website accessibility assistance.
